Hello... My name is Joseph Brothers Jr. In September 2025, I retired from the Department of the Air Force after a 36-year career. I primarily served at Robins AFB, Georgia, in various capacities, culminating in my role as the Director of the installation's Information Technology Directorate.

As a husband and father, I have always been committed to protecting my family, loved ones and myself. With that goal in mind, I obtained my National Rifle Association (NRA) Pistol Instructor certification in 2007. While a basic class would have been sufficient for my needs, I sought to gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter, leading me to become an instructor, and pass that knowledge on.

As I contemplated retirement from federal service, I decided to obtain multiple United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) certifications to enhance my skill set and deepen my expertise as an instructor. I firmly believe in the Second Amendment, but I also believe that responsible exercise of this right necessitates training to protect oneself and one’s loved ones. My current objective is to provide comprehensive basic and advanced knowledge on firearm handling, deployment, and enjoyment in both the self-defense and recreational contexts.
